Coverage Maps

RF coverage studies are a valuable resource when planning or fixing a communications system. They help identify potential dead zones and provide a clearer picture of the project’s scope before construction even begins.

These studies generate RF coverage maps that factor in a range of variables affecting radio frequency performance. These include frequency, output power, signal distance, receiver sensitivity, antenna and tower height, antenna gain, terrain variations, obstructions, background noise, and interference.

The final map visualizes relative signal strength across an area, offering insight into expected audio quality and overall coverage reliability.
